My Grandma used to make these every single Christmas. They were my favorite treat that she made because they were so special. Now that I am looking for wheat/gluten free desserts to make for Ella, these couldn't be more perfect. And they are pretty easy to make.

These look great, I think I may try them. I am bringing the cookies for my daughter's class party on Wednesday, these seem like a nice addition. What brand of red cinamon candy do you use? I wonder if red skittles would work?
Thanks,

You will love them! They are sort of a variation on a rice crispie treat and kids go nuts over them. I happen to buy my cinnamon candies from my cooking supply store, as they sell them by the pint and I tend to go through them with all of my Christmas baking. But I have bought the ones from Betty Crocker (I think) in the baking aisle of the grocery store. Some brands are spicier than others. I also use them on my gingerbread men and sometimes I also mix them into rice crispie treats. YUM! If I have some left over, I use them during Valentine's Day to decorate my heart shaped sugar cookies. Let me know how you like them and what your daughter thinks of them.
Happy Holidays!

Yes, I got the cinamon candies, Betty Crocker brand. These are sure neat, but whoa quite sticky. But definitely fun and tasty.
