The person sitting next to me was a cat owner and apparently there had been a cat on the plane earlier in the day. With the recirculated air I had a reaction bad enough that the crew was getting freaked out, and it lasted long enough that my employer (it was a work trip) ordered me to see a doctor during the trip. On the plane, I knew it was bad and did consider asking for the on board O2 just because I knew it wouldn't have cat dander (trust me, at that point they would have given it to me), and that was a reaction that was nowhere near life threatening. I can't imagine how scarey it would be to have an anaphylactic reaction on an international flight over water, where a timely emergency reroute might not be possible.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03407149544232560958noreply@blogger.com
